Perhaps my favorite book of all time. Everyone should read it when the “What do I want to do with my life question surfaces?”
Recounts Parker’s journey of self-awareness throughout his life in search of a vocation that brought him to life. It’s a quick read and one of few books that I continue to refer back to and skim over the years. Even just a few pages of Parker’s writing can provide some much-needed clarity and calm in confusing moments.
My Rating: 10/10
Who should read it: Anyone with a sense that their work isn’t quite aligned with who they truly are, which I’ve found is most people.
