The Master

I have spent so much of my life trying to appear as if I have it all figured out. Like I’m some kind of hot shit that has mastered life – grabbed it by the horns and forced it into submission.

But someone who has mastered life doesn’t have it all figured out.

Quite on the contrary actually.

The Master understands the seasons of change in life. And the Master trusts himself to handle them.

The Master is broken-hearted and The Master is open-hearted. The Master is not ashamed of this. The Master chooses to show up this way because in doing so he masters life.

He is present. He chooses to experience life.  And not just the “good” parts or the convenient parts, but all of it.
