When I start something new, I try so hard to make a big impact in the world. To think my way there ahead of time and somehow determine that success is inevitable. I ask myself questions like “How is this going to get big?” and “How am I going to go about building a following, a tribe?”
It can all be quite exhausting.
And instead I need to remind myself: the world changes one person, one conversation, one moment at a time.
It’s my responsibility to show up in that moment, be me, and be loving.
That’s how you change the world.
